About the role
Turn your STEM degree into a career at the intersection of AI, software and legal technology. Join a fast-growing LegalTech business where your analytical skills will support work for leading global law firms.
The Company
Based in Central London, this ambitious LegalTech company combines proprietary software, modern AI, and expert human review to transform how patent litigation work is delivered. Its clients include major international law firms, so quality, confidentiality, and attention to detail are central to the culture. You’ll join a small, collaborative team where you can learn directly from experienced professionals, build specialist knowledge and contribute as the business continues to grow.
The Role
As a Graduate Legal Services Associate, you’ll learn how to use specialist LegalTech software to prepare, review and quality-check complex patent litigation materials. You’ll combine technical curiosity with careful document analysis, helping turn AI-generated outputs into accurate, client-ready work for professional legal teams. You’ll receive structured training in patent litigation workflows, citation checking, AI-assisted legal work, and advanced Microsoft Word formatting. With experience, there is room to take on greater responsibility across client delivery, workflow design, quality control and future team supervision.
- Operate LegalTech workflows to process patents, prior-art references and technical source materials.
- Support AI-assisted generation and review of patent invalidity charts.
- Verify citations, technical terminology, formatting and source references with precision.
- Identify document, workflow and software issues, escalating them clearly to senior colleagues.
- Prepare accurate, professionally formatted deliverables for global law-firm clients.
- Support attorneys in using AI tools safely, effectively and responsibly.
Benefits and Perks
You’ll join a supportive, high-performing environment where graduates can develop specialist skills quickly while working alongside experienced professionals. The role offers meaningful exposure to AI, software, legal technology, and professional services from day one. As well as a starting salary of £50,000–£60,000, you will also get the following benefits:
- Hybrid working, with three days per week from their London office.
- Structured training across LegalTech, patent litigation, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Direct exposure to experienced professionals across technology and legal services.
- Clear opportunities to grow into client delivery, workflow design and quality-control responsibilities.
- Immediate start.
Requirements

- A strong academic record with a STEM degree.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Excellent written English and confidence in reviewing detailed technical information.
- Meticulous attention to detail when checking documents, data and formatting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to follow structured review processes.
