Warehouse Operative

We are working with a well-established business within the distribution sector to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking candidates looking to build their warehouse experience, with full training provided and the potential for a permanent position.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Picking and processing customer orders accurately using handheld scanners and order paperwork
• Packing orders ready for dispatch and ensuring they are placed into the correct cages
• Using handheld scanners to confirm picked items and maintain stock accuracy
• Loading and unloading boxes weighing up to 15–20kg onto cages and pallets
• Labelling boxes accurately before dispatch
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure orders are complete and correct
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience, particularly in order picking or packing is desirable
• Full training will be provided
• Comfortable safely lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 15–20kg
• Able to follow instructions and accurately work from order paperwork and handheld scanners
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Reliable, punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Shifts & Pay:

• Monday to Friday | 08:30 – 17:00
• Full-time | 40 hours per week
• Enhanced pay for overtime
• Temporary, ongoing position
• Potential opportunity for a permanent contract
