As an Art Teacher, you will: · Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons tailored to students' individual learning needs. · Inspire pupils to explore their creativity through a variety of artistic mediums and techniques. · Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. · Support students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and associated learning difficulties. · Monitor and assess student progress, celebrating achievements and encouraging personal development. · Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support for learners. The Ideal Candidate · Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. · Has experience teaching Art within a secondary school, SEN setting, or alternative provision. · Is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. · Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills. · Is creative, adaptable, patient, and resilient. · Has a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for pupils with SEN.
