Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who are growing their maintenance team. Requirements for this role:

• Qualified Electrician - Installation or Approved Electrician JIB Gold card
• 2391 or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualifications desirable but NOT essential
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and fault-finding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Full and valid UK Driving Licence

Duties include (but are not exclusive to):

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Being available for a call-out rota when needed
• EICR Testing, Emergency Lighting Testing, distribution board servicing, power & lighting rip out and upgrades
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical equipment
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests
• Ensuring compliance with all electrical and safety regulations
• Working with onsite customers and clients to help diagnose and problem solve where required
