Internal Account Manager – Paisley

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join a successful and well-established global business based in Paisley.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with experience in B2B Sales Executive, Internal Sales Executive or Account Manager roles who enjoys building strong customer relationships, generating new opportunities and growing existing accounts.

The role will involve a mixture of account management, outbound sales activity and customer service, so we are looking for someone confident on the phone, commercially minded and comfortable proactively contacting existing, new and lapsed customers.

Rates of Pay:

• £28,500 per annum
• Annual bonus opportunities

Shift Pattern:

• Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 17:00
• Permanent position

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an Internal Account Manager are:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Proactively contacting existing, new and lapsed customers to generate sales
• Making outbound calls to identify new opportunities
• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
• Supporting the external sales team with account development
• Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend through upselling and cross-selling
• Producing quotations and following up customer enquiries
• Using reports and sales data to identify repeat-order and growth opportunities
• Supporting customer queries by telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales information within CRM systems
• Managing multiple customer accounts and sales opportunities
• Contributing towards sales, profit and customer service targets

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Internal Account Manager, you will need:

• Previous experience within B2B sales, internal sales, account management or customer service
• Confidence carrying out outbound and proactive sales activity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and results-driven approach
• Good commercial awareness
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• A positive, adaptable approach with strong people skills
• Previous experience within the cleaning, hygiene, janitorial or facilities management industry would be advantageous but is not essential
