Job Title: Science Technician
Actual Annual Salary: £9,302 – £10,139 Based on hours and weeks worked
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £26,798 - £29,208 (CLF Grade B) Based on full time hours, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time
Hours: Part time, 15 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 Inset Days
Working Pattern: 5 hours per day – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Provisional Start Date: October 2026

We are looking for a Science Technician to join our supportive and talented team at Hanham Woods Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Science Technician who will support with the practical and technical aspects of the Science curriculum. They will prepare, provide, maintain and manage the necessary resources and information required to enable healthy, safe and engaging practical activities to be undertaken by staff and students.
