Data Architect Lead/Enterprise Architect

We’re looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join a growing data function for one of our Insurance clients and play a key role in shaping the organisation’s data strategy and architecture.

This is a senior, business-facing role with a strong focus on Data Architecture, working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider business to understand data requirements, develop solutions from the top down, and communicate a compelling data vision to C-suite and business leaders.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for helping shape the future data landscape, ensuring the organisation has the architecture, principles and capabilities needed to meet growing demand for data across the business and its clients.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in Data Architecture / Enterprise Data Architecture
• A background in Data Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
• London Market / General / Life or Reinsurance experience is a must
• Strong understanding of modern data landscapes, architecture and platforms
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear business and commercial outcomes
• Comfortable engaging with and influencing C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A genuine passion for data and improving how organisations use it
• Experience developing or implementing data governance frameworks
• Experience with Azure and Snowflake would be highly beneficial
• Experience within the London Market, insurance or financial services is advantageous, although candidates from other regulated environments will also be considered
