About the role

    Help shape the future of digital transformation at Portsmouth City Council. As our Low-Code Analyst Developer, you'll lead the development of innovative Microsoft Power Platform solutions that automate processes, improve data quality and support essential frontline services.

    Your new role

    You'll play a key role in driving digital transformation across the council by designing and developing innovative solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform. From building user-focused Power Apps and automating processes with Power Automate to creating insightful Power BI dashboards, you'll help improve services for residents and staff. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll turn business needs into secure, efficient and accessible solutions, while ensuring compliance with information governance, cyber security and data protection requirements. You'll also support and mentor colleagues developing low-code solutions, promoting best practice and helping to build the council's digital capability.

    Who is the person summary:

    We're looking for a skilled and user-focused Power Platform professional with experience designing, building and supporting high-quality digital solutions. You'll have hands-on expertise developing Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, working with cloud-based data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, and applying best practice in security, governance and application lifecycle management.

    You'll combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for creating intuitive, accessible and inclusive user experiences. Confident working with colleagues at all levels, you'll be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical solutions, taking a collaborative approach to understanding user needs and improving business processes.

    With knowledge of accessibility standards, agile delivery methods and modern low-code technologies, you'll be adaptable, proactive and committed to delivering digital services that make a real difference to staff and residents.
