About the role

Our Vacancy

We are looking for a proactive and organised Planner to join our team, supporting the delivery of high-quality maintenance services. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring works are efficiently scheduled and completed in line with contractual standards and customer expectations. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where your ability to coordinate resources, manage priorities, and deliver excellent service will make a real difference.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for scheduling and allocating works to operatives and subcontractors, ensuring the right skills are matched to each job and that appointments are planned for maximum efficiency. You’ll manage workflows, monitor performance against targets, and ensure all works are completed within agreed timescales. Working closely with Supervisors and Managers, you’ll review diaries, coordinate multi-trade appointments, and maintain accurate system records. You’ll also support customer satisfaction by handling queries and complaints, identifying trends, and driving improvements to service delivery.

What You Will Need

We’re looking for someone with previous planning or scheduling experience, who is confident using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word and Outlook. You’ll need strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive, organised approach and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential. Experience within social housing repairs and maintenance would be advantageous, but not essential.
