Classroom Support Assistant

Milk Education are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Lambeth who are seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to join their team from September.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in classroom learning and wants to support pupils across the curriculum rather than focusing solely on individual support.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom learning.
• Work with small groups during English and Maths activities.
• Support pupils during independent learning.
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources.
• Reinforce learning through practical activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Support pupils in developing confidence and independence.
• Assist with wider classroom activities and school events.

About You

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Classroom or school-based experience would be advantageous.
• Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Confident working with groups of children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and committed to supporting pupil progress.
