Pay: £100–£115 per day (dependent on experience)

KS1 Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Richmond who are looking to appoint a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting young learners and helping them build confidence across the classroom.

The Role

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 during lessons and independent activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Support phonics, reading, writing and Maths activities.
• Assist the class teacher with classroom preparation and resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and good learning habits.
• Support pupils with their social and emotional development.
• Help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

About You

• Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable.
• KS1 or Early Years experience would be advantageous.
• Confident supporting children with their learning.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
