Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs such as Autism (ASD) or ADHD.

  • Implement structured individual education and behaviour plans in partnership with the SENDCo.

  • Assist in adapting classroom resources and activities to make learning accessible and engaging.

  • Support emotional regulation and promote pupil independence through praise and structured routines.

  • Monitor student engagement and provide detailed progress notes to the class teacher.


Requirements for the Role
  • Practical experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND), in care or school settings.

  • A patient, warm, and highly resilient personality capable of dealing with varied learning needs.

  • Good foundational qualifications (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics).

  • An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or readiness to undergo a check).

  • Strong team player skills with a proactive approach to daily school life.
