3D Spatial Designer

This is a role for the first 3D spatial designer on a single, dedicated tier-one account – a global sports and retail brand. You wouldn’t be one spatial designer among many, working across scattered clients; you’d be the person who decides what a brand’s physical presence actually becomes, from campaign moments to permanent store executions.

The agency specialises in translating brand ideas into physical retail and event environments – store takeovers, retail windows, event zones, product launch activations. Their public work includes large-scale store takeovers for global sportswear names. Experiential work is at the centre of what they do here. 

The Role
This is a role for someone who wants to contribute thinking, not just execute it: you’ll be the first 3D voice on this account, the person who takes a brief or campaign narrative and decides what the physical experience could be. That means owning early-stage spatial concept development and setting the visual tone that visualisers, technical designers and engineers then build from. Key European spaces sit under your creative ownership.

Working closely with the Creative Directors to establish direction, then handing concepts to a dedicated 3D visualisation team for photorealistic renders, as ideas move toward production, you’ll stay involved as the guardian of intent, collaborating with technical designers and engineers to keep concepts buildable without losing what made them work. You’ll present internally with clarity, explaining both the idea and the reasoning behind it.

The Person
You’ve spent roughly 3 – 6 years in a retail, brand or experiential environment – a retail design studio, an activation agency, or an in-house brand environments team. 3Ds Max is your primary spatial tool, and you’re fluent across the Adobe suite and Keynote or PowerPoint. 

Your portfolio leads with concept-led spatial design: store environments, campaign moments, hero product displays. You understand the premium customer journey, and you’re comfortable presenting early-stage direction to Creative Directors. Knowledge of retail production and materials is a real bonus, too.
