As the Deputy Headteacher of Leaways School, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the school community with passion and purpose, driving school improvement forward through shaping and delivering an outstanding curriculum and offer. Who are we?
Leaways School is an independent specialist day school in Clapton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. The school provides a safe learning environment for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs including autism and an EHC Plan. We also have a dedicated primary unit taking children from 7 years old. We aim to offer as close to a mainstream experience as possible but provide the additional care and support needed around each young person to enable them to thrive.
Leaways School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
