Key Roles & Responsibilities
Support individuals and small groups of pupils to grasp core literacy and numeracy concepts.
Assist in the delivery of tailored education plans for pupils with additional needs (SEND).
Help maintain a highly organised, safe, and positive learning environment within the classroom.
Support the lead teacher by preparing creative resources, activities, and educational displays.
Provide active, attentive supervision during outdoor break times, assemblies, and school excursions.
Requirements for the Role
Prior experience working in a child-centred environment (e.g. classrooms, nurseries, youth work).
Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in both English Language and Mathematics.
A warm, empathetic, and flexible approach to managing varied classroom tasks.
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one with us).
Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with pupils, teachers, and external visitors.
