Junior level Architectural Technician/ Technologist (Revit)

Morson Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an award-winning architectural practice, for an Junior level Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

As an Architectural Technician / Technologist, you will support projects through all RIBA work stages, producing detailed technical information and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and in accordance with current UK regulations and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality technical drawings and supporting documentation using BIM technologies.
Support projects throughout all RIBA stages, from inception through to completion.
Prepare detailed design proposals, tender information, schedules and specifications.
Assist with planning applications and the discharge of planning conditions.
Prepare Building Regulations submissions and liaise with statutory authorities.
Coordinate and work alongside architects, consultants, contractors and clients throughout project delivery.
Provide technical support during construction and respond to contractor queries.
Attend project, site and technical meetings where required.
Prepare meeting notes and coordinate project documentation.
Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with company quality procedures and agreed project programmes.
About You

Were looking for an organised, proactive professional with excellent technical ability and a collaborative approach.

Essential Requirements
HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Architectural Technology or a related discipline, or significant relevant industry experience.
Demonstrable experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA work stages.
Strong _job-running_ experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
Good understanding of BIM methodologies.
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively to tight deadlines.
Experience liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities.

Desirable
Membership of CIAT or working towards Chartered status.
Experience writing NBS specifications.
Experience across a variety of project sectors.
