Machine Operative Required | Totton, Hampshire | Immediate Start | Temporary to Permanent

💷 Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)

🕒 Hours: Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm. Late Shift: 1:45pm – 9:45pm.

About the Role

ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative on behalf of our client for a project based in Totton, Hampshire. The role will be a 12 week temporary contract to start with, with the end goal to go permanent with the company. The first 4 weeks will be training with hours of 6am – 2pm. Once training is completed weekly shifts will rotate between early and lates.

Morning + lunch breaks are included along with an £100 attendance bonus plus monthly shift bonus once permanent of £300.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor/developer. Successful candidates may be considered for further assignments through ITS Building People following completion of the project.

Requirements for this role:

• Must be able to lift up to 20kg
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Must be able to work in a team
• Basic Computer skills
• Forklift experience (Not essential)

Requirements

• Valid [CSCS/CPCS/NPORS] Card but not always required
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)
• Relevant tools/equipment where required
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Essential)

• [Relevant Trade Qualification]
