7.5t HGV Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £14.28 per hour depending on shifts. The role of 7.5t HGV Driver is based in Newark.

Applicants must possess a valid Cat C driving licence with no more than 6 points, CPC card and tacho.

Shifts for 7.5t HGV Driver:

• 07:00 to 17:00 (additional hours required at times)
• 5 days on, 3 days off – to include weekend working

Pay:

• From £14.28 per hour
• Paid weekly
• First 5 days are spent as drivers mate, on full pay, for training

Main Duties of 7.5t HGV Driver:

• Safe operation of a 7.5t HGV
• Delivery to residential addresses in the Newark area
• Two person crews at all times
• Some heavy lifting required
• All drivers will be DBS checked after starting work
• Operating within working time regulations
• Pre-vehicle checks daily
