Position: Secondary Mathematics Supply Teacher
Location: Plymouth, Devon (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply
Salary: £130.00 - £160.00 per day (Day-to-day cover) | Paid to Scale (Long-term contracts)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

No Planning or Marking (Daily Cover): Focus entirely on classroom delivery with zero lesson preparation required-walk in, teach, and finish at 3:30 PM.
Paid to Scale (Long-Term Roles): Secure long-term Maths teaching contracts paid according to your teacher pay scale (includes planning and preparation responsibilities).
Work-Life Balance: Fixed daily schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with complete control over your working days.
Local Opportunities: Work with top secondary schools, academies, and trust networks across Plymouth.
Deliver high-quality KS3 and KS4 Mathematics lessons using pre-prepared materials.
Provide general cover teaching across other secondary subjects when required.
Maintain effective classroom management and foster a safe, positive learning environment.
Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning for all secondary students.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT/NQT status (Essential).
Proven experience teaching Maths within the UK secondary education system.
Strong classroom management skills and adaptability to different school settings.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new check).
Right to work in the UK.
