Job Title: Security Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £38,000 + travel time + overtime + callout

Are you a Security Engineer based in Newcastle looking for your next opportunity? As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install, configure, and commission security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding on security systems.
* Respond to callouts in a timely manner, diagnosing and resolving system faults to minimise downtime.
* Liaise with clients on-site to ensure works are completed to a high standard and with minimal disruption.
* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service sheets and engineer reports.
* Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Security Engineer or in a similar field-based role.
* Proven hands-on experience with intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
* Experience with leading industry systems such as Texecom, Honeywell, Paxton, or Hikvision.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* SIA licence (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB accreditation awareness or FIA membership (desirable).
