Commercial Litigation - 3+ PQE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a growing and successful dispute resolution team at a well-established Kent law firm.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues on a variety of commercial and civil disputes. The department acts for businesses, property owners, and private individuals across a range of litigation matters.

Your work is likely to include:

• Contract disputes
• Debt recovery and debt claims
• Commercial and civil litigation matters
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Property-related disputes
• Contentious probate matters
• General dispute resolution and settlement negotiations

The team works closely with specialists across the wider firm, providing a collaborative approach to client matters and ensuring clients receive comprehensive legal support.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking client instructions and conducting consultations
• Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
• Managing matters from inception through to resolution
• Keeping clients regularly informed on progress and strategy
• Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
• Maintaining accurate and compliant file management
• Handling client enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
• Supporting business development and networking initiatives to help grow the department

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years' PQE in Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution
• Experience handling a varied caseload of contentious matters
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Strong organisational and matter management abilities
• A proactive and professional approach
• An interest in business development and networking activities
