A specialist SEMH school in Westbury is seeking an enthusiastic Maths & Science Teacher to inspire and engage pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time role until Christmas, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role
Teach Maths and Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
Plan engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
Create a calm, structured classroom where students can thrive.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team to support pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths and Science at secondary level.
Previous experience in an SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision setting is desirable but not essential.
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
