This is your opportunity to join a world-renowned manufacturing business who are seeking for a Buyer to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis.

About you…

• +3 years Buying experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Duties…

• Work with management regarding maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis
• Negotiate the best prices at the best quality in all dealings with suppliers.
• Seek for improvements in purchasing procedures and methods
• Organise purchasing requisitions
• Work closely with internal departments in assuring the timely supply of materials
• Manage material costing and all associated material aspect
• Participant in the development of creating an accurate and efficient system
• Take part in filling of POs
•  travel to nominated trade fairs and vendor premises
• Enter data into databases or other computerised systems
• Maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information
• Other adhoc duties
