Commercial Accountant

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a growing business in Stockton on the appointment of a Commercial Accountant.

This is a varied role combining management accounting, commercial support and contract administration, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintain accruals, prepayments and key financial records
• Review and manage customer and supplier contracts
• Support commercial negotiations and risk assessment
• Assist with tenders, proposals and pricing activities
• Monitor customer payment performance and commercial obligations
• Support audits, compliance activities and process improvements

About You

• Finance, commercial or business-related background
• AAT qualified/studying, or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing multiple priorities and engaging stakeholders
• Experience reviewing contracts or commercial documentation would be advantageous
