East London | £6m Roofing Project | Long-Term Career Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality social housing refurbishment projects.

You’ll initially take the lead on a £6 million roofing scheme, delivering the project over an 18-month programme in East London. This forms part of a 10-year framework agreement, providing exceptional long-term career stability and the opportunity to progress into future projects.

The Initial Project

The scheme involves the refurbishment of seven occupied residential blocks and includes:

• Traditional and specialist roofing works
• Installation of green roofs
• Balcony refurbishment works
• Working within occupied environments while maintaining excellent resident liaison and health & safety standards

Future Pipeline of Work

Following the successful completion of the roofing project, you’ll move onto a variety of planned maintenance and refurbishment schemes across the framework, including:

• Occupied kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
• External refurbishment programmes
• SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) projects
• Planned maintenance and improvement works

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering roofing or planned maintenance projects
• Experience working on occupied social housing refurbishment schemes
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality management
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
