Warehouse Operative – Pick/Packer

We are currently looking for hard-working and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our client in Castle Donington (DE74), near East Midlands Airport.

💷 Pay & Hours

Pay: £10.85 – £12.71 per hour
Holiday: Accrued
Job Type: Full-time

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday plus either Saturday or Sunday
• Day shifts: Start times between 5:00am and 12:00pm
• Afternoon shifts: Start times between 2:00pm and 3:00pm
• Shift times can be discussed at induction.

📦 The Role

Your duties will include:

• Parcel sorting, picking, packing and scanning
• General warehouse duties
• Container loading and unloading
• Using a pump truck
• Heavy lifting and manual handling
• Cutting down and disposing of cardboard boxes
• Assisting with receiving and warehouse processes
• Basic computer work
• Following instructions from warehouse supervisors
• Maintaining accuracy and a good eye for detail
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Flexibility to work different hours when required

👷 Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential – minimum 1 year
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible with working hours
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
