Test Engineer

NATS, a leading organisation in the Defence & Aerospace sector, is currently looking for a Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing test plans and test cases for defence and security systems
• Performing both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability
• Analysing test results and reporting any defects or issues found during the testing process
• Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements and design appropriate testing strategies
• Maintaining and updating testing documentation and records
• Participating in test reviews and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
• Assisting in the setup and configuration of test environments
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Experience in testing within the Defence & Security sector
• Proficiency in test engineering methodologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
• Understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant engineering or technical degree, or equivalent experience
