We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and ambitious teacher to join our team at Newbrough Church of England Primary School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for a wonderful KS1 class of just 16 children, within a small, supportive school where staff know every child well and work closely together.

Whether you are developing your classroom practice or bring significant experience to the role, we are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to make a real difference within a small school community.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Deputy Headteacher and wider staff team, with excellent opportunities for support, professional development and, over time, the chance to develop wider curriculum and leadership experience.

You will teach a KS1 class of 16 pupils, giving you the opportunity to really know every child, understand how they learn and see the impact of your teaching.

You will be supported by an experienced Deputy Headteacher and a committed wider team. We place a strong emphasis on collaboration, professional development and sharing good practice, and support can be tailored to the experience and development needs of the successful candidate.

For someone developing their teaching practice, this provides an excellent environment in which to learn from experienced colleagues and grow in confidence. For a more experienced teacher, the size and structure of our school provides opportunities to have a significant influence on curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
