Cleaning Operative - Night Shift

LOCATION: Belfast

SHIFT PATTERN: 28–32 hours per week

PAY RATE: Competitive

We are currently seeking diligent and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards in a variety of client locations. Your role is vital in ensuring safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the site management and team members.

Requirements

• Essential Criteria:
• ·       Willing to work flexible hours.
• ·       Ability to work under pressure.
• ·       Ability to pass security requirements/vetting.
• ·       Eligibility to work in Ireland/UK.
• ·       Good written and spoken English.
• Desired Qualifications:
• ·       School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English
• ·       Full clean driving licence.  
• Desired Experience:
• ·       Experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment.
• ·       Time spent in a customer service environment.
• ·       Experience working within a results-orientated environment.
• Attitude / Motivation:
• ·       Confident.
• ·       Flexible, reliable, responsible, calm under pressure.
• ·       Willing to undergo training/coaching in line with organisational philosophy.
• ·       Positive attitude towards and supporting of change.
• ·       Motivated by a desire to provide a professional service.
