This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys fault-finding, repairing, upgrading and testing specialist equipment within a workshop environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer equipment is serviced, repaired and returned to the highest standards of quality and performance.
As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, maintenance and upgrade of specialist equipment, along with associated mechanical components.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing faults on mechanical equipment and tooling
- Disassembling, inspecting and rebuilding equipment to manufacturer standards
- Testing and calibrating equipment following repair
- Completing workshop documentation and service reports accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across the workshop
- Managing workloads to ensure customer deadlines are achieved
We are keen to speak with candidates who have a strong mechanical background and experience working with precision equipment, tools or industrial machinery.
Skills and experience:
- Experience within a workshop, manufacturing, maintenance or engineering environment
- Strong mechanical assembly and repair skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Competent using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
