We are recruiting an Transport Administrator to join a busy operation based at a major LHR Hub in Feltham.

This is a fast-paced role supporting the movement of inbound airfreight arriving into the UK and outbound shipments leaving the UK. You will help coordinate shipments, vehicle movements, collections and deliveries, working closely with airlines, Ground Handling Agents (GHAs), hauliers, warehouse teams and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitor inbound airfreight arrivals using pre-alerts and shipment tracking systems.
  • Coordinate collections from airlines and GHAs and arrange onward movement of freight.
  • Plan and book inbound and outbound vehicle movements.
  • Monitor collections and deliveries to ensure customer SLAs are achieved.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, including collections, airline bookings and pre-alerts.
  • Prepare and check shipment paperwork, including MAWBs, HAWBs and import/export documentation.
  • Create collection/delivery paperwork and vehicle load plans.
  • Liaise with airlines, GHAs, hauliers, drivers, customers and warehouse teams.
  • Track shipments through to delivery or departure and resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records using Excel and internal freight systems.
  • Support import and export customs entries where required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within airfreight, freight forwarding, transport or logistics.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confident dealing with customers, drivers and operational partners.
  • A proactive approach to resolving problems and delays.

Experience with airfreight documentation, MAWBs/HAWBs, customs processes or freight systems would be an advantage.

Why Join Us?

This is a great opportunity to work within a busy Heathrow airfreight environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a team responsible for keeping international freight moving efficiently into and out of the UK.
