Science Technician

Science Technician - Gateshead

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Gateshead that are seeking a Science Technician to support their Science Department. This role is to begin ASAP and is ongoing with no current end date.
 
The main duties of this role will be to support the Science Department in maintaining and organising equipment and materials, and to support the Department with lesson preparation.
 
Requirements for the role of Science Technician:
- Experience in an educational setting such as a school or college
- Experience of working with young people
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety in a lab setting
- Educated to degree level in a Science subject
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
