Interim Delivery Manager

Up to £420 per day (Inside IR35)
6 months with potential 12-month extension
Location: Hybrid working, minimum 2 days per week in Glasgow

Security Clearance: Basic Disclosure Scotland and BPSS required

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support the delivery of strategic digital and business change initiatives within a complex public sector environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end delivery planning, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Providing governance, reporting, and assurance to senior stakeholders.
• Supporting Product Owners and leadership teams to deliver strategic priorities.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to maintain delivery momentum.
• Managing relationships with external partners and third-party organisations.
• Overseeing system integration and interface dependencies.
• Assessing and coordinating responses to external changes and impacts.
• Identifying and mitigating delivery, data, and integration risks.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.
• Ability to coach and mentor teams in Agile and Lean practices.
