Configuration Analyst | Bedfordshire | 4-day week   Ever noticed how the people who quietly keep a complex engineering programme from falling into chaos rarely get the credit they deserve?   That's Configuration Management. And if you're doing it well right now, somewhere, on some frustratingly under-resourced project, this might be worth five minutes of your time.   This role sits at the point where traditional CM meets where the discipline is actually heading, digital twins, model-based systems engineering, digital thread. You'll be working change control and configuration baselines day to day, but with a clear runway into digital engineering as the business's strategy matures. Not a "might happen one day" promise, an active part of the plan.   A few things worth knowing:

• Four-day working week. Genuinely. Friday's yours.
• Deep, complex engineering programmes, not paperwork for paperwork's sake.
• A structured path into senior CM and digital engineering roles.
• Due to the nature of the projects, DV clearance will be required, so this will suit someone already established in defence or a closely adjacent regulated sector. You will need to hold sole British citizenship.
