About the role
We are looking for a Plant Accountant and Controller (m/f/d) within TOMRA Feedstock who will establish and perform general ledger accounting for one of our plants. The position is located at our Norwegian plant Områ (2-3 days / week) with the possibility to work remotely the rest of the time. Readiness to travel 3-4 times a year is required. Responsibilities of the Plant Accountant and Controller (m/f/d): Handle complete general ledger accounting Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards as well as group accounting standards (IFRS) Cooperate with external auditors and serve as contact person for tax authorities; preparation of VAT-declaration Handle bank transactions and reconciliations as well as preparation of cash flow forecasts and dunning process Act as ERP Key User for finance applications; participate in the implementation of the system; proactively produce input for continuous improvement of the system Create and generate monthly reports and variance analysis of actual performance and provide recommendations for optimization measures Support in regular budgeting process Work on special projects with focus on continuous process improvements 5+ years of professional experience as a fully qualified accountant in a production environment Comprehensive knowledge of cost and asset accounting, product costing, operations controlling Experienced user of ERP-systems, ideally IFS Proficiency in Norwegian and English Educational background University Degree in Accounting/Controlling or Finance Other skills / abilities Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels in the organization Understanding of recycling processes would be nice to bring What else do we have to offer?
