About the Role

Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced A&E Nurses (RGNs) to work within the Accident & Emergency Department at Bangor Hospital. We offer a wide range of flexible agency shifts, allowing you to work around your lifestyle while earning excellent rates of pay.

As an A&E Nurse, you will provide rapid assessment, treatment and ongoing care to patients presenting with a wide variety of urgent and emergency conditions. Working within a busy Emergency Department, you will collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage and deliver high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Prioritise patient care based on clinical need and urgency.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to any deterioration.
• Administer medications, treatments and emergency interventions safely.
• Assist with trauma cases, resuscitation and emergency procedures.
• Support the stabilisation and transfer of critically ill patients when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, paramedics and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to NMC standards, infection prevention policies and hospital procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK A&E/Emergency Department experience.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
