CNC Miller

My client is looking for a CNC Miller to work the late Shift (4 on 4 off), this role involves setting and operating CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components.

You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.

Salary: 40-50k

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) – 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday

CNC Miller duties:

• Set, operate, and manage CNC Milling machines
• Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
• Perform in-process quality checks
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain safe working practices
• Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
• Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
• Where practical, pre-set ready for next job
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

CNC Miller attributes:

• Commercial awareness and professionalism
• A good standard of general education with basic computer and numerical skills
• Astute attention to detail with steady hand-eye coordination
