We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to support a busy student accommodation site in East London. This ongoing temporary role is focused on building safety, compliance and day‑to‑day facilities maintenance.

Role Overview
You’ll carry out a blend of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the building remains safe, compliant and ready for residents.

- General maintenance repairs — routine fault finding and minor repairs
- PPM duties — fire alarm tests, lift inspections, plant room checks, emergency lighting inspections, critical equipment checks and external property inspections
- Health & Safety compliance — ensuring safe working practices and accurate record‑keeping
- Proven building maintenance experience
- City & Guilds or equivalent
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Experience with PPM routines
- Ability to work independently
- Clear communication and customer focus
