COATINGS INSPECTOR – QA/QC

Offshore | 06:30–18:30 | 7-Day Shift | 3-Week Contract

We are currently recruiting an experienced Coatings Inspector – QA/QC for an offshore project on a 3-week contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a coatings professional with strong inspection and reporting experience, ideally with a background in Passive Fire Protection (PFP).

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Inspecting coatings and associated works to ensure they meet project specifications and required standards
- Completing accurate and detailed inspection reports
- Recording inspection findings and maintaining relevant QA/QC documentation
- Working closely with project and QA/QC teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved
- Supporting the successful delivery of the offshore project

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar Coatings Inspector / QA/QC position
- Proven experience completing inspection reports
- AMPP Level 2 (NACE) or ICorr Level 2 as a minimum
- Previous experience in PFP application or inspection is essential where the candidate does not hold specific PFP inspection certification
- Very experienced Level 1 Coatings Inspectors may be considered, although this would be a last option

Offshore Requirements

Candidates must hold:

- OPITO BOSIET / FOET
- MIST
- OEUK Medical
- DONUT Training Certification

Duration: 3 weeks
Shift: 06:30–18:30
Working Pattern: 7 days
Location: Offshore

Rates of pay:

DS LTD £43.50 NS LTD £45.50 OT LTD £56.55

DS PAYE £40.03 NS PAYE £42.61 OT PAYE £55.40
