Job summary

Working in a team with Lucy, our Data and Insights Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the directorate's strategic objectives and business priorities. You will be joining our small but highly experienced & friendly team, who are committed to making positive change in how we deliver change in the Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS).

Job description

Lucy is committed to providing trusted support to senior leadership teams, helping to coordinate priorities, manage business risks, and address complex organisational challenges. Taking a pragmatic and innovative approach, Lucy enables effective decision-making and drives continuous improvement, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape how the CSS programme operates in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with senior stakeholders and a professional team, you will provide planning and coordination support across a range of programme priorities, helping to align delivery, manage dependencies and facilitate effective decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

The role will play a key part in strengthening business improvement, governance and organisational effectiveness across the CSS. With a range of exciting projects to contribute to, this is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery with the development of innovative solutions that support strategic priorities and enhance the effectiveness of the CSS SLT.

Person specification

You'll be comfortable providing business management support to the SLT through effective planning, coordination, governance, and oversight of strategic priorities and key programmes.

You will:

• Be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook.

• Thrive in a busy and varied environment.

• Enjoy solving problems and identifying opportunities to improve the way things work.

• Be highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.

• Have experience coordinating governance, business planning and performance activities.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.

• Have a continuous improvement mindset, using insight and feedback to drive positive change.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
