Deputy General Manager Pub Northamptonshire

Deputy General Manager required for this busy country pub located near Kettering. The role will involve working alongside the General Manager and the Owner

The role will involve deputising for the General Manager on their days off, Opening and closing the business and generally ensuring that the business runs smoothly at all times.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager with a warm and friendly personality who has a definite ‘can do’ attitude.

Personality is key as well as the ability to do the job, our client runs a happy friendly business for both customers and staff so they are looking for somebody that will fit into this role.

It is a hands on role, dealing with customers and staff on a daily basis, dealing with feedback and any complaints or questions that may arise.

As Deputy Manager you should have previous experience of working in a Hotel, Pub or Restaurant ideally to at least supervisory level. You will need working knowledge of food and wine and have the confidence to run a service at least twice a week.

If you’re creative you might also be asked to help with general marketing ideas, social media and discussing, planning and organising any promotions.

Applicants should have their own transport to get to work and live in the Corby, Oundle, Raunds, Rushden, Kettering, Burton Latimer or possibly Wellingborough area with their own transport

Benefits

Salary of £35,000 – £38,000 (depending upon experience)
Can be paid Hourly if preferred
Equal Share of Tips
