Assistant Nursery Manager – up to £3,000 depending on experience

We are recruiting for an Assistant Nursery Manager to be based in a lovely Nursery close to Oldham. The role is full time within a large 105 place Nursery that caters for 0-5’s. The role is full time over 5 days with parking available and good public transport links.

As the Assistant Nursery Manager, you will be;

• Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the Nursery.
• Helping with office related duties such as rota’s, emails, phone calls, parent enquiries, show rounds
• Involved with parent partnerships, enrolments, transitioning, meetings
• Carrying out supervisions and peer on peer
• Support the staff team in driving the quality within the rooms
• Hands on with the staff, parents and children

In order to be considered for the role of Assistant Nursery Manager you will need the following;

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification
• Proven success at Deputy Manager level
• Office admin experience / Computer literate, ideal
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and what good quality looks like
• Passion to be in the rooms leading the teams, training staff, embedding excellent care and education
• Excellent team player with all staff members including the Nursery Manager
• Able to open or close the nursery to support the Nursery Manager
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and processes
