Nursery Area Manager – up to £60,000 depending on experience

We are recruiting for a Nursery Area Manager to join a growing Nursery Group. The Nurseries are based across the East Midlands (mainly Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire with some in Northamptonshire). You will need access to your own car (car allowance paid within the salary advertised and mileage expenses). The role is full time across 5 days. The region will comprise of up to 5-8 Nurseries and you will be overall responsible for driving the People, Growth and Quality aspects of the business goals.

The role of Nursery Area Manager will include;

• Overseeing the day to day operations of 6 nurseries
• Driving high quality within the settings to a Strong and Exceptional level
• Role model what strong and exceptional practice looks like
• Carry out mentoring, training and peer on peer observations
• Be present in the nurseries, building excellent relationships with all staff
• Supporting the Nursery Managers with all elements of their roles including safeguarding
• Driving the growth, quality and people goals within the Nurseries that feed into the overall company strategy
• Parent partnership strategy
• Carrying out audits and creating bespoke action plans
• Support in the opening of new nurseries

In order to be considered for the role of Nursery Area Manager you will need the following skills, experience and qualifications;

• Full and relevant early years qualification, level 3 or above
• Full driving licence and car (essential)
• Proven success at driving performance, quality and growth within a childcare setting
• Ambitious, tenacious and results/quality driven
• Friendly, professional and role model
• Experience within a multi-site role, either at support manager level or area manager
