Maintenance Engineer

Location: Central London (Multiple Campus Sites Available)

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Salary: £39,000 + £220 Call-Out Allowance + Unlimited Overtime

• Perform scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial mechanical plant and building services infrastructure.

• Service and repair key equipment, including:

  • Heating plant, boilers, pumps, and pipework systems

  • Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and ventilation plant

  • Calorifiers, pressurisation units, valves, and domestic water services

• Diagnose system faults, perform root-cause analysis, and execute safe repairs.

• Oversee site water hygiene tasks (e.g., temperature monitoring, flushing, L8 compliance).

• Work alongside sub-contractors, managing permits to work and ensuring strict site safety compliance.

• NVQ in any mechanical discipline (plumbing,mechanical, air con)

• Experience: Proven track record in commercial mechanical building services maintenance (higher education, NHS, or corporate estate background preferred).

• Compliance: Strong understanding of water hygiene (L8), pressure systems, and safe
