Key Stage 2 Teacher

PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teachers for upcoming opportunities across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

We work with a range of primary schools and are looking to speak with teachers who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you may be required to:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 2
• Have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Are reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
