Aircraft Cleaning Operative - Bristol Airport

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Aircraft Cleaners to join various contracts in Bristol Airport.

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
• Shifts available: Night Shift (2200 - 0645)
• Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training provided
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Start Date:

• To be discussed at interview (Immediate Start)

Key Duties:

• Clean aircraft cabins efficiently and to a high standard to pass audits.
• Vacuum carpets, wipe surfaces and clean passenger seating areas.
• Empty waste bins and replenish cabin supplies.
• Clean toilets, galleys and other aircraft facilities.
• Follow all aircraft cleaning, security and health & safety procedures.
• Work quickly and safely within tight turnaround times.
• Report any damage, defects or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to ensure aircraft depart on time.
• Operating various vehicles (Full UK Driving Licence Required)

Roster examples:

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.

• 4 on 4 off
• Day 1: 22:00 - 0645
• Day 2: 22:00 - 0645
• Day 3: 22:00 - 0645
• Day 4: 22:00 - 0645

Must be flexible to accommodate the shift pattern.

Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
• Physically fit and able to remain active throughout a shift.
• Detail-oriented and committed to high standards of cleanliness.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous cleaning, airport or aviation experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Full UK manual driving licence is preferred by not essential.

Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
