About the role
Construction Base Harbour Site Manager required for Major Offshore Wind Farm based in the Netherlands. Requirements Lead by example on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) behaviour. Conduct regular site walkdowns and report HSE status. Intervene & escalate when good practice and/or quality & safety standards are violated. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site team assigned to you. Coordinate and manage the Construction Base Harbour and ensure the health and safety of everybody carrying out construction work, or anyone who may be affected by the work in the Harbour. Responsible for planned and unplanned Maintenance Team deployment planning and execution based on overall construction priorities that are provided by the Construction Manager. Take part in: Marine Operations daily meetings, Project daily meetings and Construction Priority meetings to facilitate this. Monitor, check and approve Permit's in Client's PTW System. Monitor and report progress of Construction Management offshore campaigns (e.g. inspections, snagging, paint repair). Liaise with Site Access Security Contractor, Warehouse Coordinator and Contractor, VF Customs Coordinator, Client Operations and Maintenance team, local suppliers and other stakeholders. Familiarise and/or review work-related Method Statements (MS) and Risk Assessments (RA). Lead and participate in Toolbox Talks. Manage Base Harbour when Emergency Response Plan is put into action. Act as host for visiting members of the project team & contractors. Responsibilities Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial-technical operations & projects, of which at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in offshore operation planning and/or coordinating or in a similar position in an international asset project organisation, preferably within the offshore wind or offshore oil and gas industry. Practical offshore installation experience is an advantage. Knowledge of typical offshore troubleshooting scopes. Able to quickly familiarise with project documents. Ability to manage, motivate and coordinate people. Fit and willing to work offshore & at heights (Offshore Medical examination). Full GWO training certification. Proficient in English, fluent in local language. Able to communicate clearly and concisely. EU right to work.
