Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Stafford

Zest Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Stafford. This is a full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to support students in a rewarding educational environment.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and development across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for students with additional needs.

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about education and helping young people reach their full potential.

• Has previous experience working with secondary-aged children (school-based or in another capacity).

• Is reliable, patient, and confident in working with young people.

• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a valid DBS certificate.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
