We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools on a long-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to support students as they develop crucial scientific knowledge, practical skills, and curiosity about the world around them. For the right candidate, the position has the potential to become permanent.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students’ understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities, ensuring strong progress across the curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience).
• Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment, including effective management of practical experiments.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
• Inspiring students to enjoy and succeed in Science, fostering curiosity and a passion for discovery.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• Passionate about Science and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or ECT status.
• Experienced in teaching Science at secondary level.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
• Able to engage, motivate, and inspire students of varying abilities.
• A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
