About the role
Zest Education is recruiting a warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Atherstone. This full‑time role begins in September and is based within Early Years, supporting children as they take their first steps in school life. The position is confirmed for at least one term, with a strong possibility of extension for the right person.
The school has a nurturing, child‑centred ethos and is looking for someone who brings patience, positivity and a genuine passion for early learning.
The Role
- Support children across Early Years with learning, play and daily routines
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Provide targeted support for pupils who may need additional help
- Encourage independence, communication and social development
- Help maintain a safe, structured and stimulating learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
You can explore EYFS support strategies or learning through play approaches to deepen your understanding of the role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
